Alcohol Ink Marbling on Coasters

Alcohol inks are all the rage in the art world! These dye-based waterproof inks create highly saturated colors with flowing, transparent textures you can’t achieve with pigment- and water based paints like watercolor or acrylic. In this program, participants create functional coasters using ceramic tiles, stick-on-cork backing, and alcohol inks. The opportunities for experimentation with color mixing, contrast, and dilution are endless.
